Hello all,

Thanks in advance.

Hi, From Wilnecote station I would take the road heading West direction (B50404), access the canal and walk south until you reach Fisher's mill Bridge, this is the access area to the reserve from the canal.

Regards, John

8/2/12 The Reserve mostly frozen today however there was open water on the North pit due to it's closenesss to the river and outflow to the private area creating moving water. A nice male Pintail feeding, also 10 Shelduck and a Little Egret, a Reshank flew over.

And abandon their favourite home at Upton Warren? Never!

In all seriousness the Flashes can only hold a finite number of Avocet pairs so it will be interesting to see where any "overspill" appears in the West Mids.
