S Thailand raptor id help pls (1 Viewer)

Hi, is it possible to id this raptor from these admittedly poor photos. In flight it did seemed barred like a sparrowhawk, but seemed large for one of those. They were taken on December 29 at about 11 am outside of Hat Yai Thailand, near the edge of one of the large inland lakes in Songkhla province.
