S Thailand raptor (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to id this raptor from these poor photos? The photos were taken on Nov 26 at about 2pm at the Hat Yai Water Treatment Plant area. There were two raptors flying close together fairly low over the flooded fields. They flew like harriers but twisted and turned more than a north american harrier. They both seemed "brown" with white splotches on the underwing.
Thank you for any and all suggestions
steve

It's a marsh harrier of whichever type (Western, Eastern). I don't know which is the common one in this area: suspect you wouldn't be able to be sure from these images alone

Eastern Marsh Harrier would be my guess ( brown with noticeable white blotches on the underwing is
favouring imm/female EMH - image 1 shows a white leading edge to the wing also favouring EMH - (not sure that WMH would be very likely - EMH would be the default in Thailand). Hard to be certain though from these images.

Hi, thank you everyone for your efforts. They did seem large, larger than a Brahminy kite for example. EMH and Pied Harrier are the two harriers noted in e-bird, though none very frequently, for the area.
thank you again
steve
