Sabine's Gull? Reno NV USA 10/29/20 (1 Viewer)

Hi, A few weeks ago a Sabine's Gull showed up at Washoe Lake in Nevada and over a week period of time lots of birders (including myself) reported seeing this gull (some actually saw 2). This is quite an unusual bird for this region. On Oct 29th I was birding at a small Lake at Damonte Marsh which is around 10 miles north of Washoe Lake. I saw the enclosed bird which to my untrained eye looked very similar to the Sabine's Gull. After reporting it, it is now listed on my ebird account as "unconfirmed". What other gull could this possibly be? Any insight would be gratefully appreciated. Kathy
