Another couple of hours around Forge Mill 1.30-3.30pm in a rather chilly wind, max 12c. Pete H. managed to locate the Green Sand on the Marsh,Thanks again,
The GWE was not present at 2.00 but flew in from??? at 3.00 sending all the Gulls up. There were a Min of 7 Common Snipe feeding in the channels and a Goosander swimming up the river. A Coal Tit was briefly on the new feeders.
A couple of record snaps below.

Swan pool, Icehouse, Hill Top and FML combined notable totals today.
15 Shoveler
48 Teal
163 Coot
53 Mallard
13 Mute Swans
29 Tufted Ducks
16 Moorhen
103 Canadas
2 Little Grebes
4 GC Grebes
23 Cormorant
372 BH Gulls
19 LBB Gull
2 Herring Gulls
1 Green Sandpiper
4 Little Egret

1 Marsh Tit Swan pool at the edge of the meadow in trees, left from the slipway.

24 Robins (which Birdtrack reckons is unusually high for the West Mids) Not so when you look at the size of the Valley.

1 Common Snipe on FML which had an unusually shorter than normal bill.
