Male and female Goldeneye on Swan Pool (as spotted previously). A few little Grebes as well. Redwing all over the place (seem to make quite a row in the trees, particularly at Hill Top).

Friday 11th Dec
A couple of hours around Forge Mill, very disappointing, extremely low on the wildfowl front compared to recent years, no Wigeon, no Gadwall that I could see and not a single Snipe showing. The Marsh devoid of any birds The feeders at the Centre had more Rats than birds. The only thing of note was the arrival of 7 Barnacle Geese @ 2pm, 2 Little Egret and 2 Common Gulls, One of which was ringed, Hughie took record photo to try and establish the Nr. in full.
