Santa Cruz, California sea birds (1 Viewer)

I took these two photos from the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf about 20 minutes apart in the late morning on 2022-07-06. My guess is that first is a Pigeon Guillemot, but I've only started seeing these birds recently, so I'm not sure. I'm even less certain about the second, but my guess would be a Common Murre.

I would be grateful if someone could provide confirmation or correction.
