Very nice pics indeed, kits and Roy!:t:

A few from today!

The first 3 pics were taken whilst out walking at a local (ish) common.
The 4th pic was taken later in the afternoon whilst walking a local (ish) canal path.

We all had the same idea today...get out and take the frosty pics while the chance was there! Well done to everyone, I've enjoyed looking at them all.

You captured winter there Pam. Mist, frost and sunny with saturated colours. Very nice. I hadn't looked far enough back to see yours Wendy. The cotoneaster and holly pics look very nice and christmasy.

Not sure where else to put this...didn't really want to start a new thread and thought that this one could do with a bump anyway!

Saw these two swans on a small lake when I walked the dog this morning. A very weak sun was trying to shine, but not doing very well. They looked serene and happy in spite of the weather.

Super pics everyone.
All my decent pics are from the archives, I hope we get a sprinkling of snow in my area for new seasonal pics. |=)|

Perfect place, Wendy. They are seasonal and of nature. :t:

Certainly can feel the chill in the air. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks folks. They were gliding towards me, but I din't wait around any longer as they were getting very close to the edge of the lake and they have a tendency to approach people! I needed to get the dog and myself to a safe distance!

We have ICE!

The first is one of our Blue Atlas Cedars. The other is a Russian Olive tree.

Hi Wendy and Kits. Thanks. This morning we're at 4°F and the wind chill takes that down to -20 to -22°F! We usually don't have it this cold until February.

That does look cold, Lydia. My pal in Boston said they've had 15 inches of snow in less than 24 hours & more to come. I've asked for a photo so I can post one.

My American pal kindly sent me a photo & said I could post it on the forum. So here it is.
