That really is a gorgeous butterfly, Cristian, your gallery photo even better than the one posted before on this thread.

I took some wild flower photo's today.
The first, Wild Garlic, is growing under our Magnolia tree.
The others from a wander up the lane.

On Easter Saturday I was taken to Garston Wood on the Dorset/Wiltshire border for the very first time.

Even though it was raining there was the sound of wall to wall warblers, the ground was carpeted with Wood Anemones and the first Bluebells were showing and a couple of Buzzards were calling just above us. A magical place.

Thanks Val. It is lovely, although quite a long drive from where I live, but worth it.

I don't believe I've ever seen Turtle Doves - are they easy to spot?

Many thanks Val.

I will certainly have to take my birdsongs with me, just to make sure. What a delightful sound they make... but even I knew the sound of the very first bird I heard in the wood - a Grasshopper Warbler!

I was ecstatic as it went on and on and how the sound carries in the rain, when there is no one else around. :-O

Got out for a walk with a very patient dog this morning! He's used to having to sit and wait while I take photos. Here's a selection.

Lovely pics since I last looked in. :t:

It was just a couple of weeks later than now last year that I saw some in Suffolk so definitely hitting the right time for them:

saw a pair courting there a few days before I took that video, albeit at rather a distance! Just listen out for the "turrr turrr... turrr turrr...".
