The first cygnets at Abbotsbury are early this year. They are supposed to herald the start of summer.....;)

Hello Cristian,

We haven't met before. Lovely pics, especially the gorgeous blue flower next to the Poppy. Is it a kind of Forget-Me-Not?

Sea pinks out in force on the cliffs at Burton Bradstock this morning, also a rather lovely hay meadow full of buttercups and daisies.

Those are pretty, Wendy. We were out and about at the weekend and fields full of buttercups - they looked gorgeous.

Those are superb Wendy, really lovely to see the sea pink and all those buttercups - looks like a gorgeous place!

The cuckooflowers are out in the marshy patches on my local meadow and one half of the meadow is really thickly carpeted with buttercups and there are hundreds, if not thousands of 16 spot ladybirds in the flowers! I found one buttercup there this morning with 8 ladybirds in it! Also found a tiny red ladybird, possibly a 24 spot or Bryony ladybird.

Two pics that I took using the camera function on my camcorder...
