Very Autumnal photo's, Kits. That current leaf does have a pretty design.

That second one is particularly beautiful, Kits. So many of our trees and hedges seem to be suudenly bare and very little colour to show. If the rain holds off this pm, I may get out to try to find a bit of colour somewhere....

Not a great deal of luck I'm afraid......trees either almost bare or still green. I shall look back at xome that I took last year to see the dates and, if all else fails, I shall post some of them!

These are of an ash tree, distant, closer and the seeds closer still.

All that I could get from this morning's dog walk were these teazels and burrs. I think that the dog (Springer Spaniel) brought home a couple of dozen burrs on his body.....his left ear was all stuck up with them, they were matted in his tail and very close to his private parts!!!! Bless him, he let me comb them all out and is now ready for a repeat performance later!

They're not quite dry enough yet, Ruth, but I've noted where they are for later on! Look good sprayed gold and silver at you know when.....

Well I was supposed to be doing the ironing this morning but as it was such a beautiful one I took myself off through "my wood" and around the lanes to look for some autumnal colours.......not too much in evidence as yet here but things are slowly on the turn as you can see from the set of pics below.o
