I had a wander round the garden this afternoon & took these.
I don't know what 1) & 3) are?

1) A tall weed, there are a few in that flowerbed.
2) Leaves in the stream.
3) Is growing in the greenhouse, some sort of grain?
4) Vine leaf.
5) Cottoneaster.

Thanks, Cheersm8, I like the fluffy seed pods, on the Willowherb, but I think they are going to sprout like mad next year.|:D|
We haven't actually had squirrels here for a while now! Strange that.

That's a lovely selection, Val.

The squirrels have decimated our back lawn with burying hazelnuts, acorns and hornbeam fruits. Little ******!

Nice selection, Val. Just shows you don't have to go far to see these things.

Hey, cheers.....I can see that picture! I wonder why? I've pmd tech support, but not had a reply yet.

Flipping squirrels, Kits....but they are a bit cute.....;)

The sun reappered this afternoon and I managed to get the leaf pictues I've been after. Also some berries too. Not too sure what some are, but have no doubt someone here will know!

Berries to follow.

And the berries. Does anyone know what the red berries are? It's in a laarge garden by the lane, so I guess not wild as such.

Thanks for the kind words regarding my Kingfisher photos everyone. This Kingfisher often sits on the stones in front of the hide but rarely does it stay there long enough to get any decent shots. I was just lucky that it sat there for a while.

Well well, Autumn is truly here now. I looked out of the window at about 4:00 pm and and the late afternoon sun and colours looked so 'right' I just had to grab me camera and make a mad dash out to see what the evening would bring. I wasn't disapointed.
One enthusiastic squirrel gathering rose hips, a few canada geese flying in to roost, and a very content mute swan, all looking super in the last rays of sunshine.

Thankyou Pam and Val. I've got a soft spot for the Swizzels too Val. OK they are painted black, and may well deserve it, but they are busy little so and so's and I just can't work out how they can skip through briars, brambles and hawthorn without getting caught up on a thorn or pricking their toes.

I had a dawn start today. Not far, just a quick walk through the local woods. It was a cracking morning with some nice 'Autumn Dawn' things going on.
A brace of Muntjac, ( The bucks were barking like alsations most of the morning- Simom King eat your heart out! They beat those semi tame Red Deer anyday ), an early morning Robin having a good old singsong, some Bracket Fungi on a dead Birch tree, and, of course, an obligatory Grey Squirrel, up and about early.
There were five Buzzards soaring over the wood, and a Red Kite flew over, being harrassed by a carrion crow. I didn't photograph the buzzards as there are only so many soaring buzzard pics you can keep before they start to get samey ( fantastic to watch though, never tire of 'em )
