Keogh)]</p><p>Storm Petrel: c.380</p><p>Leach's Petrel: 26</p><p>Spotted Redshank: One flyover, calling on 30th Aug (Andy Clifton, Alan Clewes, Malcolm Goodman et al.)</p><p>Black-tailed Godwit: 64</p><p>Whimbrel: 262</p><p>Grey Phalarope: 65+</p><p>Pomarine Skua: 10</p><p>Arctic Skua: 254</p><p><strong>Long-tailed Skua</strong>: 4 [one adult on 25th Aug (Matthew Mulvey), one 1st cal-yr on 28th Aug (Killian Mullarney & Richard Bonser), one 1st cal-yr on 29th Aug (Niall T. Keogh) & one 1st cal-yr on 1st Sept (Paul Flint? et al.)]</p><p>Great Skua (Bonxie): 168</p><p><strong>Sabine's Gull</strong>: 121 [8 1st cal-yr, 12 2nd cal-yr & 101 adult or 2nd cal-yr types]... Highest counts were of 15 on 25th Aug & 56 on 28th Aug.</p><p>Little Gull: 2 [one 2nd cal-yr on 28th Aug & one on 1st Sept]</p><p>Sandwich Tern: 339</p><p>Common Tern: 1 adult on 26th Aug</p><p>Arctic Tern: 441</p><p>Black Guillemot: one 1st cal-yr on 29th Aug</p><p>Puffin: 20</p><p></p><p>Also, 2 sightings of Minke Whale, c.50 Common Dolphins, c.25 Bottlenose Dolphins & a few Ocean Sunfish.</p><p></p><p>Max. count of birders on site was of about 55 on Friday 28th Aug which coincided with the start of the UK Bank Holiday Weekend & a spell of good NW winds which drew in some Irish birders also.</p><p></p><p>All the best,</p><p>Niall</p></blockquote><p></p>
