Seeing 5 red tailed hawks together? (1 Viewer)

Hi! I was wondering, I've been seeing between 2-5 hawks together in my area at once. Sometimes they're just flying incredibly close by to each other and sometimes they seem to be hunting birds nests in the trees together. Often, one tries first and draws several of the small birds away, and then the others come. I know that they mate for life and it would make sense to see a couple together like this, but I was wondering about the larger groups. Do hawks have friends? Could it be a couple and some siblings?

If you're seeing than now, it's probably a family group. I see groups around here in SE AZ, it's usually the juveniles pestering the adults for food!
