Its doesn't stay flat with the ocular lens when in closed position. At click stop 2, it stands about 1.5mm taller than the stock eyecups when fully extended. At click stop 3/fully extended, it stands about 3.5mm taller than the stock eyecups when fully extended.No more blackouts for me when fully extended. I think click stop 2 will serve most western people fine whether click stop 3 will suit most Asian people well.I guess it will help for the seriously bad CA problem as well. Eyes positioning is very critical for this particular model. When I position my eyes on axis/dead center,under challenging situation the CA is there but acceptable. But when I go just a bit off axis, black stuff on the sky like a crow glows like a crazy neon light:eek!:.Have to wait till week end to have some real world birding test.AN</blockquote>
