I'm not sure if this bird, seen at a feeder, is a House or Purple Finch. The notched tail and beak have me thinking maybe Purple Finch, but the coloring maybe House. Thanks for your help!20220129_151240a.jpg20220129_151246a.jpg20220129_151248a.jpg
 
House finch (the tail-tip shape is not an ID feature - check instead bill-shape and lack of red on flank) and dark-eyed junco.
 
I'm no pro but always go to Cornell Lab site for comparisons. Eye stripe, body stripes, and tendency for crown to fluff all suggest House to me.
