September Weather (1 Viewer)

It's a bit cloudy in the south east corner, but have had the sun poking out on and off. It's warm when the sun is out but even when it's behind the clouds it's pleasant. Rather noisy here at the moment with the guys outside chipping the tops of my conifers but that's a job that was well, well overdue... they were absolutely enormous!! The birds really don't know what to make of it though, they've been in a state of shock all day - poor things!

A sunny and cold start to the day, temp dropped to 5.3c! This brought the birds back to the garden for their brekkie!

A gloriously sunny afternoon!

Clear blue skies, sunshine, only 12°c at present, but I suspect it is going to be a warm day later.

Shallow mist and fog patches early this morning, the sun is starting to shine and dispersing the mist now! 9.8c!

Robins were singing their melancholy Autumn song this morning.

Wind (nne, increasing as the day goes on ) squally showers, dull and chilly, a bit autumny with the first leaves falling, but great to pop over to the coast and see some big waves.

They did give rain for the South Eastern part of the country, Fozzy, for today, seems they were right then. Good heavens!:-O
Here it's sunny, dry & still fairly warm.

Yes, they did forecast rain and it certainly did that - walking down to the village this afternoon I got caught in a very heavy downpour, soaked through!

It's been grey for the past couple of days and around the 16 degrees mark. Just nice for me ;) I'm not a lover of extremely hot weather as you know :smoke:

It's definitely getting a bit nippy at night too.....I've put an extra duvet on the bed and just had the electric fire on to take the chill off the room :smoke:
