Yes, has been very nice today - was on and off a bit cloudy this morning (which was good for doing some gardening, helped me avoid getting too hot) and then was pretty warm and sunny this afternoon. Just a little cloud coming and going at the moment, a very slight breeze and the temperature is perfect - not hot, not cool just right. Ideal for sitting outside in the shade with a book and a little glass of pepsi max (I don't drink). B :) :t:

A bit dull here, feels quite warm.
Not sure what the weather is going to do at the moment

My Marine friend's Mrs. sent me this photo this morning. Record flooding in the state of Georgia at the moment.

As for us ... rain is forecast from now through Eternity.

Hi Lydia

That looks scary - lots of water, no road, and through barred windows. :eek!:

Hope that the flooding has not going to affect you at all?

They live several states south of us but many people have lost their homes. Too many have lost their lives too in Georgia. That weather system is moving toward us but ... guess we need to wait and see how much rain we do get.

Total opposite over here - not enough rain in Alnwick!!! I had to give my outdoor pots a good soaking this evening as my fuschias were looking a bit droopy and dying of thirst :smoke:

It's been warm with occasional sunny spells today. The wind picked up from lunchtime onwards and got quite blustery at times.

The house martins have reappeared after a few days' hiding :t:

Drizzle first thing; overcast now. Only 16.5°c. This time last week I was basking in the sun and it was 30°c.

A bit of a mixed day today, we had real dull and chilly autumn weather for a few hours, an hour of mild springtime drizzle, followed by a very cheerful summery type evening.

Beautiful autumn day here. Golden light, long shadows, dew glistening, sparkling cobwebs. Much cooler though. Hopefully with the sunshine it will warm up later.

Thick fog first thing, cleared around 9.30. Warm sunshine this afternoon with very little cloud.
