5/3/19 At the Botanical Gardens in Dhaka after cyclone Fani in the vain hope that something interesting would have been blown in. Unfortunately not. :( But I did manage to find a nice new spot in the gardens that I somehow had not explored yet, and one year bird.

105. Plain Prinia

Was out in Savar for a few days and also went to Jahangirnagor University one morning.

7/6/19 in Savar
115. Large Cuckooshrike

7/7/19

At Jahangirnagor University.
116. Indian White-eye (formerly Oriental White-eye)
117. Ashy-headed Green Pigeon
The Ashy-headed Green-Pigeon was a good surprise. Not a common bird and a good record. I don't have access to the bird list for the university, but one of my local birding friends is trying to figure out if it has been seen on the campus before. Possibly a first campus record, which would be pretty decent considering this is one of the best and most birded hotspots near Dhaka.

edit: confirmed 1st campus record!

in Savar
118. Zitting Cisticola
