Egret and Kingfishers still showing also had Teals today

Recent highlights include 7 Teal, 2 Shoveler, 9 Pochard, 6 Goosander, 32 Cormorant, 2 Little Egret, 5 Grey Heron, 6 Little Grebe, 1 Water Rail, 1 Snipe, 1 Woodcock, 6 Ring-necked Parakeet, 2 Raven, 3 Goldcrest and a Grey Wagtail.
Pumphouse Pool is ice free but the other pools are mostly frozen.
 
New years day visit and managed 40 species which is more than I was expecting, highlights 2 Shoveler, 1 Teal, 6 Goosander, 1 Little Egret, 1 Buzzard, 1 Gt spotted Woodie, 6 Ring-necked Parakeet, 1 Jay, 1 Chiffchaff and a Grey Wagtail.
 
54 species of birds so far this year with the highlights being a Great White Egret, 3 Little Egrets, 6 Shoveler, 12 Goosander, Water Rail, 1 Woodcock, Kingfisher and 50 Siskin. Ring-necked Parakeet numbers have really increased from 6 (2/1/23) to 700+ this year!
