Sibley on "tape luring" (1 Viewer)

A good tool in Autumn.
It's clear that, when tape luring, you are trying to 'fool' your quarry that you are a rival.
Too much luring or too loud luring is going to scare off even the bravest Firecrest (suckers for luring btw as are Water Rail, Yellow-browed Warbler, House Sparrow, Red-breasted Flycatcher and others) as 'he' perceives a monster sized rival around the next bush.

Moderation in all things is the way to go, especially in tape luring.
