AF does work with Sigma 150-500 and modded TC, but the combined focal length and F stop is no longer correctly reported by the D90 as it was without the mod. Not 100% sure if this mod is metering properly either. There were several shots when AF had trouble locking on in viewfinder mode, but switching to Liveview AF focusing posed no problems. At this point, I would using the 1.4x TC modded for AF is still a good idea.  Light conditions were not ideal with bright, but overcast skies turning progressively darker by late afternoon. Range varied from about 4m with the Turtle Dove, to a more common 20-30m for the water birds, to over 100m for the Goshawk. All were taken HANDHELD. cheers,Rick</blockquote>
