Sincere apologies! Can you help me ID this moth please (1 Viewer)

Hallo all, 3rd time lucky! My apologies, I've twice asked for help in the wrong sub-forums. Can you help me identify this moth please? I think it is Lymantria dispar, Gypsy Moth. The patterns and spots match but I would like other people's views. Thank you for your help.

Hi gardensurveyor and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

I've seen your other post in the Moths forum. Please don't fret if it happens again (we've all done it, even me - and fairly recently too:oops: - but please don't tell everyone LOL

Either send a message to a Moderator using the envelope above to start a Conversation. Or simply place another post underneath asking for it to be moved. If a Moderator doesn't pick it up immediately, you can bet a member does and will alert us.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing about the species you see around you.
