Singing Eurasian Wren in Winter (1 Viewer)

For the last few mornings, a Wren has been singing at my local railway station in the dark at around 7.30am. I know Robins sing all year round, but I've not heard of Wrens doing so. I've tried Googling it but I just get hits on 'Winter Wren'.

Wrens sing pretty much all year too, Steve. At least in Aberdeen the only birds I regularly hear singing in late autumn/early winter are Robin, Wren and Dipper.

Ditto here, though also Mistle Thrushes starting to sing a bit as well in the last couple of weeks or so.

... and a Blackbird in sub-song this morning. Too early to declare the start of spring?

At 23:30 last night in the car park at work several Wrens were singing as well as a couple of Blackbirds.
