Sites for Northern Damselfly? (1 Viewer)

I will be near Aviemore on business in a couple of weeks and would be grateful for information relating to sites to see Northern Damselfly and Brilliant Emerald.

Also am I right in thinking there are no sites for Azure Hawker anywhere near Aviemore?

Thanks,
Paul

You will definately see Northern Damselfly on the approach road to Loch Garten from the B970 at NH966,193. It is a small pool on the right hand side of the road heading east with a short boardwalk. Myself and a mate saw 20+ in poor conditions.
Unsure on Brilliant Emerald.
Good luck.

Thanks guys, fingers crossed the weather will be ok and I'll get time to do both.

Do you know of any Northern Emerald sites? They should also be out?

Cheers,
Paul
