Id been told it had left, but after speaking to a local he said he had seen it today....

these are taken from where he said but it was distant - which obviously has reduced quality

I think last two are a sneaked in Great Crested which swam into shot.....and is the last a ringed plover? assuming so due to no eye ring.... Ducks bum in front is a Teal

Hello,

yes you found the Slavonian Grebe imo. Congratulations!
Taking all pictures together the right head and bill shape and head-pattern can be assed with confidence: A good exqmple, where multiple pictures hell to optain a true impression of the bird, despite low resolution and distant pictures (no...)

I can only see a possible Great Crested Grebe in your 5. picture, or is it a pitfall picture? I am not so sure. The others show the Slavonian Grebe.

Last picture shows a male Teal and a Common Ringed Plover (lack of an yellow eye-ring and just visible orange base to the bill (or is it whishful thinking?). But I hesitate to ID the Plover with confidence, as the lege seems to habe a fleshy tinge and the bill seems on the slender side. Do you have more pictures?
