I've been looking though all my old pictures looking for something new I didn't notice before and came across this.

Merlin comes back blank. I've looked through my guides and some googling. I've checked similar birds to the Black Capped Chickadee and the Black and White Warbler in All About Birds. All blank. Can't figure out this bird. It's near Bar Harbor, Maine, Sept 6, 2015.

Can anyone ID it? I only have this one picture of it.

It is a Black-capped Chickadee. Don't know why Merlin would not come up with that.

Possibly for the same reason I didn't think it was a black-capped chickadee. The beak looks too pointed and it's not really black like a Black-Capped Chickadee.
