If Edward Harris Jr. (1799-1863) - Find a Grave... correct we may treat him a Jr. as Edward Harris Jr. . But I am not sure if this is correct. But it looks from the page that the father used the same name as Edward Harris Sr.. See also Edward Harris (ornithologist) - Wikipedia.
As well I am not sure if we should treat Harris's Hummingbird to serious.

Edward Harris (1799–1863) was a farmer landowner, breeder of horses, and amateur ornithologist who lived a life of leisure. Audubon (q.v.) named the hawk and woodpecker to honour his friend, who had helped him financially (1823) during the preparation of his Birds of America when he had been reduced 'to the lowest degree of indigence.' He had just experienced a humiliating departure from Philadelphia, denied membership of the Science Academy (see under Harlan). Edward Harris bought all of Audubon's paintings and gave him an extra $100 in appreciation of his talent saying: 'men like you ought not to want for money'. Years later Audubon said of the incident, 'I would have kissed him, but that is not the custom in this icy city'. Audubon called Harris 'one of the best friends I have in the world'. A mammal is named after him.
