Of course not, because a UV 8x32 is way smaller than a SV 8x32 ;) I bought my current binocular a few years back, when there was the last generation of all the top bins: Ultravid HD, old EL, Zeiss FL. The UV was the most expensive, by a small margin. I thouroughly compared these, and bought the Ultravid. Simply, I liked the view best and found the small size a big advantage. I never compared today's top lines, but I can imagine the result would be the same. Perhaps the SF would win, because I definitely like a big FOV. Also the ergos are good, but I'm not sure I would be ready for the big size. Spec wise the Svarovision does not seem interesting to me, I don't care for sharp edges and what else does it really better than my UV? CA perhaps, which I can see sometimes in my UV, but not enough to be relevant. All this, just to show you the reasoning of someone who ends up buying an Ultravid. It's possible ;)
