Why anyone using a 500 mm lens, complete with a loud motor drive, would want 300 frames of a Coot is way beyond me.I'm one of the 'old school' and when I started birdwatching the hides were built for birdwatchers and not so called 'photographers'. Sadly, the throw away world of the digital era, along with common decency and manners, has changed all that.You need never worry about meeting me because all my birding is done at first and last light and in empty Norfolk and Yorkshire hides. It's just like the good old days when birdwatching was for birdwatchers and for people who cared about the welfare of our winter waifs.John.</blockquote>
