Hi all
After a recent trip to Canada (Aug 2018), I'm looking to ID some smaller birds.
The first one was taken in a car park in Banff.
2-4 were from Consolation Lake nr Lake Louise.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks

Hi Speedbird, welcome to BirdForum!

#1 is a young Brown-headed Cowbird, #2 is a Pine Grosbeak, #3 is a young White-crowned Sparrow, I'll pass on #4. The sandpipers should be Long-billed Dowitchers and Black Turnstone.

#3 is a Golden-crowned Sparrow in basic plumage. The first sandpiper is juv. Short-billed Dowitcher.
