Hi, I need some help on an ID. See attached photo. This was taken in Rota Spain in June. Thanks!

Hello Paul,
your bird is a very young 1 cy Kentish Plover. Everything is there, pale, long legs are good for this young age.

Caveat: I am not an expert in variation of chick/very young plovers, but KP is a better fit for this bird than Little Ringed Plover with this narrow black neck patch, but I get a strange feeling with this spot: is it in the right position, or shouldnt it be further down at the breast side?

Alexander, thank you. This was my conclusion also but was just unsure. As a side note, there were other adult KPs nearby. Appreciate the help.
Paul
