Yes, theat's true, some pics are more of guessing so what do you prefer:
a) We return to the old punctuation system
b)I put better pics and the actual system remains

Oh, and I gave wrong Points.

Here are the actual Points.

2nd) Nickderry: 52P
3rd) Rosbifs: 47P
4th) Allen S. Moore: 46P
5th) Jon Turner: 45P
6th) Skylark25: 44P

15th) Kernow Pete: 1P

Look carefully, if I gave right the points!!!!!!!!!!

Your photographs are good, showing what the birds are really like in the field rather than portraits. This make a better type of quiz.

I am saying nothing about the points this time! ;)

Oh, never mind, please tell me if you prefer a) or b).;)

If a) means the points system without minus points for wrong identifications I will go for that. As I have posted before, I am happy with the photographs so that means you would be hard pressed to produce better pics in the context of this 5 star quiz.

hope i am not late to answer for this round...quite busy at the moment...

coot, shoveler, gadwall, teal, snipe, wigeon, mallard:t:

Agree with Allen, i don't really agree with negative scoring. Halcon it really depends on how much time you have available on your hands. It must be already difficult for you to give the right points, let alone start deducting too. Its really up to you but I personally would go for a)

Grey heron, mallard, marsh harrier and lapwing.

I will kick myself when I find out what is hiding behind that bush!

Is that Barcelona Airport at the back of the picture?
