Sparrow ID - NYC (1 Viewer)

Hello! Can I get some help with this sparrow ID? I saw him in NYC in January. I'm thinking House Sparrow?

Is this one also a White-throated?

Or more directly--I was told that this melanistic sparrow was a house sparrow (I'm trying to compare it to a typical colored one). Do you think it's the same kind of sparrow as any in these above pictures?

Agree with the above - 1st post from OP is White-throated, their 2nd and 3rd posts here are both House Sparrows.
