Hi everyone,
I'm struggling with this poor picture of a sparrowhawk. Only this photo as it passed quickly. Is it Japanese, Chinese or Eurasian? They are the ones that come to these areas.
Thanks for your help.
Rob

Juvenile Japanese Sparrowhawk Rob. Chinese has dark wing tips, unmarked underwing coverts and a more pointed wing with typically only 4 obvious fingers while Eurasian has completely different underpart markings, 6 fingers and a much longer tail.
