It is moderately sad that people still give a second thought of these news/photos/videos from Russian social media. ;)

Why not go for the classic of Russian culture, namely the story that a live woolly mammoth was seen in Siberia? Do not read the comments of the video below before watching, because it will spoil your fun.

As someone semi resident in Russia for 9 years, this 'classic' of Russian culture is unknown to me.

Humour is a common coping strategy, particularly in British culture. Or so I've heard....

Used to be, now its been pretty much replaced with floods of tears, a monetary claim for psychological trauma and a sale of tragic story to the tabloids.

There is no point of taking seriously an uncommented film from social media. Especially from Russia, full of rumour, confusion, fake news and general information chaos.

It could be anything. A prank of a computer graphics artist. A circus bear painted for All Fools Day.

Think about the context. How one would paint a wild 500 kg predator?
