Spring Birding at Dauphin Island, Alabama (1 Viewer)

My wife and I are planning on a trip to Dauphin Island, Alabama this year for the spring migration. I would like to find out the best time to make the trip to see the most birds. I know the weather can affect the quantity of birds available but would like to know the dates that are usually pretty good. I have heard anthing from early April to late April. Does anyone have any information on this?

I'm doing a mid-March trip...USS Alabama, DI, etc., only because it's convenient for my schedule. I've seen late April disappointments before due to the weather turning too soon, so you can never tell. I'm sure any time in April will get results though.

Anytime in April is good but I prefer the middle of the month for the most variety.
