I know of numerous local rares being found and put out but the finders only for one or two regular stringers to turn up and say "I/we had had it here yesterday so you didn't find it I/we did". Strange they never put the news out on genuine birds that get subsequently found by real birders (because they never found them in the first place) and only put out strung birds (because no one can disprove anything).</blockquote>
