Suan Rot Fai in Bangkok (1 Viewer)

Well-known member
Dear members and bird watchers!

I had an afternoon session in Suan Rot Fai Bangkok today.

I saw this bird and I have no idea what it is. Flying together with an Oriental Magpie-robin and I would say about twice the size of the Magpie robin

My expensive camera refused to focus, not the first time and I never got a picture of the head when the bird turned to me just refused to fix and as I was looking through the camera I never saw the head of the beard.

A very long shot, but I have seen some of the pictures the members have managed to identify so I decided to try, any one know what bird it is?

Kind regards and happy birding

Plaintive Cuckoo

I would never have guessed that. I have pictures of the plantive and they are all grey. Checking on internet and this is the female.

Very nice even though I´m very disappointed with my camera

Kind regards and happy birding
