Sub-adult Lesser Black-backed gull with interesting primaries (1 Viewer)

I was going through some of last years gull photos and came across this Lesser black-backed gull which I completely skipped over at the time.

Photos taken on the 30th of July in Belfast, Ireland.

I believe this is a moulting 4cy bird (third summer)?

What is interesting to me is the extent of the white on the primary feathers, particularly p9 as well as the underside of the p7 & p6 primaries.

Is this pattern fairly common during moult?
