My FZ18 stays in that mode always. I routinely set the iso to isoMax400 which does produce some noice (much better than my old coolpix 4500 though) but not more than I can live with. I have chosen to lower NR to -2 again because I can live with some noice; I have a good NR program on the PC if I need it. Niels</blockquote>
