Swarovski eye candy... (1 Viewer)

Recent trip to Normandy France 🇫🇷 remains of the Mulberry harbour in the background,
My 8x32’s are my current favourite in my line up, now considering should I replace my 12x42’s with the new 14x52’s which I use almost exclusively on a tripod 🤷🏻‍♂️

Interesting photo there! maybe just add the 14...I could adjust my thinking about tripod use with the 52's...my 12's are in hand, on the edge of tripod use though.

Tbh I find the 42,s a little heavy for continuous hand holding, I love the view through the 12’s on the tripod much more then my scope
Well, interesting thought there. Makes me think my previous thoughts on 52's and tripod needs re-thinking. I understand 12's can be retrofitted with the new hinge sockets of the 52's.

Southern Florida in July with the Swaro candy EL 42’s. 95°, 82% humidity and mosquitoes that drink deet for lunch.

They can. I had it fitted at the Birdfair last month. Works very well.

The legendary Nikon F2 with a DE-1 finder (i.e.,no light meter but interchangeable with the slide-in Photomic light meter).
I bought a ba]rand new Canon F1 back in 1973 at the Marine PX along with servo meter for top and a canon 50mm F/1.2 lens and still have it today like almost brand new condition..
