I took two swiftlets on an island in Qingdao City, Shandong Province last week. They were flying very fast and I couldn't take clear pictures. After they disappeared in different directions, I saw two more two hundred meters apart. I'm not sure if they are the same individual, but unfortunately I had to leave the island at the time, and I can't investigate the number carefully. The island is 7.28 square kilometers, with a highest elevation of 513.6 meters, and is about 11 kilometers away from the mainland. I had recorded two swiftlets on this island in July and August of 2020. Within 15-20 kilometers of the island, we have recorded another four times in recent years, including at least 7 in one time. I suspect that they breed on this island. There are a lot of Pacific Swifts breeding on the island, but because the cliffs are very steep, I have never seen their nests. I suspect that these swiftlets are Germain's Swiftlets, because they conform to the habits of island life, but I am not sure if they can be identified by plumages? There is also Himalayan Swiftlet in the high-altitude areas of southwest China.
These photos were all taken by me on June 6.
Thank you very much!

What's interesting is that a friend of mine photographed this swiftlet in a park in Qingdao on June 7. About 36 kilometers from the island. He was not sure how many swiftlets, but only one appeared at the same time, show up throughout the day.
