Tenerife and La Gomera recent updates (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
I am going to spend a few days in Tenerife and possible La Gomera during next Xmas holydays.
I am reading all the usual books (Garcia del Rey, Gosney, Clarke/Collins), but all the info available seem to be rather dated, and things probably deteriorated in last years. A part from Blue Chaffinch, that I understand is still relatively easy at the usual picnic sites (also in winter?), I would appreciate some tips based on recent observations for:
  • the two endemic pidgeons
  • barbary partridge
  • barbary falcon
  • trumpeter finch
Many thanks in advance

no idea if you would consider it recent but in November 2017 I saw both pigeons from mirador de La grimona and Ruiz gorge as described on gosney p14-15, Bolle’s also seen at chanajiga and pico del ingles (p10-11). Barbary falcon at pico del ingles also.
I saw neither Barbary partridge (despite some effort) nor trumpeter finch (which I didn’t really try for)
Also blue chaffinch was easy at las lajas in the same month
