Hi,

found these old images on my hard drive. I took these pictures on March 22nd 2017 over some shrubland in the Parque Rural del Teno (north-western part of Tenerife). I am not sure what raptor this is. Could it be a honey buzzard? According to the research I did it's not a common bird on Teneriffe but the small head (especially in image 3) made me think of it. What do you think?

Thank you. I see Common Buzzards everytime I leave the centre but something about the last picture threw me off.
But it shows that I am rely heavily on colors for identifications. On cloudy days with bad lighting I am often unable to identify the most common birds

If it’s any comfort I still have the same problem after 60 years’ birding David!!
