Hello,

can anyone help id the tern in these pictures? From where I was it seemed that the beak was too thick for common or arctic tern.

Hello,
I agree with your ID. You have already identified it by the monster bill. If you brighten and correct the picture, you see a good bill colour for a Caspian Tern too, as is dark underside of primaries (not an artefact, I think), which eleminates most similar Lesser Crested Tern, Gull billed Tern has a blach bill
