What use are Postmen? I've had another idea. Get rid of all postmen. All they do is deliver a notice card that they tried to call while you are sitting waiting in the house and somehow they can't knock the door. Then I suppose sometimes they don't even leave a card or knock the door and your package just sits in the depot while the sender sits with the tracking code all to themselves. They even leave parcels with my next door neighbour while I'm here in the house. So the Optima must sit in the depot again until Monday when I have to go and get it myself because the poor little postman won't be able to knock the door yet anyone looking for a charity donation or looking to sell you something never seem to have any problem with the door knocker. It seems it's only postmen with signed for packages. They have no problem making sure you get every bill or pile of junk mail. Basically they are junk mail deliverers. I would like them just to scan your mail at a local post office. I have one half a mile away but the depot where all my deliveries end up is 4 miles away and currently I have to cycle there and back right through town centre traffic and today I can't even go there and get it because they don't make it available for collection until the next working day which is Monday though when I phoned to complain they offered a redelivery on Tuesday. I don't think this post system is fit for parcel delivery and it is as has been said much more common nowadays but Postmen seem to be the problem. I would like to be able to log into an online post account and check if there is mail or packages at the local office and just go and collect it. Hey presto no need for postmen or they should really be called No Attempt Delivery Men. It doesn't have to be this way and a local shop certainly did avoid such things. I really need to bare in mind in future that ordering anything for delivery is only going to be a problem. Surely someday they must improve their rubbish inability to do the job so that's my suggestion. Get rid of postmen and set up online mail accounts for those who want them. Think of the money they would save on postmen and normally I'm all for people having jobs but these guys I've had enough of. They are just postage saboteurs. Am I alone in this? Oh I needed that. :C:C:C:C:C:C:C:C:C:C
