The BBRC have also in the past published records of species pre-dating the first BOURC-accepted records at the time eg Fea's Petrel whereas the BOURC has also second-guessed BBRC decisions on identity eg the return of the Alder Flycatcher.So if there is really a change in approach, most would expect a clear announcement rather than reading between the lines and perhaps a mischievous post on an Internet forum?I doubt anyone who wants to tick a Thayer's Gull or a Hooded Merganser that BOURC does not deem acceptable is likely to give a monkeys about BBRC acceptance of that individual one way or the other.All the best</blockquote>
