Which means you lose a couple of stops.- 100% crop 1Diin, ISO 400 (700mm, f5.6, 1/500) UNprocessed.- 100% crop, 7D, ISO400 (500mm, f4, 1/1000) UNprocessed.- Same as above, uncropped, resized and processed.- 100% crop, 7D, ISO800 (500mm, f5.6, 1/500) UNprocessed.- Same as above, uncropped, resized and UNprocessed.Too many variables for true testing comparisons, but I find the 7D is now my first choice of camera. Until it started snowing and then I switched to the 1D for the weather sealing :t: That's the only reason I would switch back.</blockquote>
