Hit lucky with a Whimbrel flying up the Tyne at Costco today.:t: With a Common Sandpiper here and a Green Sandpiper at Lamesley hopefully its the start of a wader fest. A few Gateshead photos from the last couple of days.

Cheers

Two new year ticks today. Firstly Reed Warbler at Birtley reed beds and Shibdon, then 3 Cuckoo in the Kibblesworth area. A Tawny Owl has spent most of the last couple of days out in the open.

Cheers

FoghornKinghorn

Durham Recorder
Wood Sandpiper at Lamesley Water Meadows mid afternoon. Visible on most southerly pool and often disappears for short periods of time as it goes amongst the grass. Local Lapwings don't seem to like it that much.

Andrew

You did promise. Please leave us be.

Thanks

Rob

Rob seriously did you not learn before and now before I get called out this is NOT a threat. You need to really look at yourself, Andrew is not posting out of spite he's not here to cause further conflict on an already well conflicted thread. Just seriously grow up, you are not helping yourself your comment is going to set off a chain reaction of comments back to you which I personally would not enjoy and you may end up like your good friend whom now no longer posts. Do you really want it to come to that? I think you are strongly missing the 'Public' part of Birdforum and if you cant accept that, start a blog where you can control comments and who views it etc not here.

Jake.

Andrew has just given you info on a decent county bird that people on here will be interested in. Why should he leave? Just because you have something against him doesnt mean you have the right to choose who joins in on a public forum...

I find this a bit hypocritical as it was you taking a cheap shot at Steve on another thread which caused more conflict and ultimately led to his suspension from BF, hardly adult stuff from you either so maybe you should take your own advice.

Its wasnothibg compared to some comments though...
Best to leave it now and enjoy the birds and wildlife of a brilliant part of England. Leave personal stuff out of it. Andrew caused no harm here. No point bringing up the past either, that's sorted.

And I said sorry for what I did. Unlike him who took it to whole new levels, Rob on the other hand said some stuff then when people replied to him he ignored all responses? At least I had the guts to say Sorry as, for 'Steven' he was rude and obnoxious to me and some friends including Andrew and birdforum it's better off without these sorts of people. I appreciate what your saying. However my jibe at Steve was not the only reason for his departure.

Secondly this is nothing to with omahd nor you quite frankly.
